How to Buy and Sell Shares on the WSE
Make a Deposit
To buy securities (shares/bonds) on the World Stock Exchange you will need to deposit your World Internet Currency (WIC,WICS,$W) into your WSE account.
How to Deposit WICS
To deposit WICS into your WSE account make sure you have an account with WIC Exchange at http://www.wicexchange.com. If you already have a WIC Exchange account login to WseLive.com and select the "WIC ATM" button on there right navigation menu titled Your Account. You will now be asked to enter your WIC Exchange account name and the amount of WICS you would like to deposit into your WSE trading account. Once you have purchased your WIC credits at WIC Exchange your WSE WIC Trading Balance will be credited. WIC Exchange accepts PayPal and all major credit cards.
How to Buy and Sell Shares on the WSE
Login to WseLive.com and then select the "Trading Room" button on the top navigation menu. First make sure you have visited the "Research" section and then when you know which companies your interested in watching or trading select and add each company to your Watchlist so that you can view price, order and volume movements. To buy shares in a company on your watchlist, select trade or select a company in the drop down list and then select "Trade" and you will be taken to the Order Entry page.
On the Order Entry page scroll down the page to view the Top 10 Open Sell and Buy Orders. You can buy shares immediately from any sell orders using the "Market Buy" feature or you can place a Buy At-Limit order to specify the maximum price per security you are willing to pay. If you select Buy at Market make sure you have checked to see what the current Open Sell Orders are available so that you can estimate what price per security you will pay.
To sell securities on the WSE immediately using the "Market Sell" feature, you will need to enter the amount of securities you want to sell and price per security listed in the Open Buy Orders list so that the system will match your sell order with current open buy orders instantly. If you do not want to sell to the current buy orders or to the current price then you can specifiy a higher price per share by using the "At Limit" feature. The WSE charges a World Internet Currency commission to the seller of 3% on the sale of all securities.
Conditional Orders
You can trade using conditional orders by selecting the Advanced Orders link on the Order Entry page. This will allow you to place Buy and Sell orders that will only execute if a specific price, volume or percentage level has been achieved and will only continue to execute the trade up to another specified level. Do not use this feature unless you are confident with how to use it.
